July 28, 2006 - CanAdGroup Inc. announces the acquisition of Modesty Magazine.Today CanAdGroup completed the acquisition of Modesty Magazine. Modesty Magazine is a leading Chinese language publication well established in the Chinese community and currently distributed across Toronto, Markham, Scarborough, Richmond Hill, North York, Thornhill, Mississauga, other Ontario cities and South Asia. Modesty has been published since 1993 featuring current events, personality profiles, lifestyle, entertainment, business and community news. During the last two years Modesty magazine has received financial assistance from the Canada Magazine Fund and from the Department of Canadian Heritage. Mrs. Ivy Lee, Publisher and President of Modesty Group, will continue her association with Modesty Magazine as Editor in Chief. CanAdGroup is delighted to be associated with Mrs. Lee who is renowned not only as a publisher but also for her community service, social activities and international relations. The addition of Modesty Magazine is a good fit to the other publications of CanAdGroup that will be published by the fall this year, addressing health and fitness and life in the city.
